ABOUT POLYNET PRODUCTS
Established in 1988, Polynet Products Limited is a small, family-owned company specialising in importing a range of quality knitted and extruded polyethylene netting products from Italy. We have a rich history of supplying high performance, quality products throughout Australasia and the South Pacific, and are proud to offer a wealth of knowledge to our residential and commercial customers.
OUR HISTORY
Polynet was established by Aubrey Smith in 1988 to import round bale netting and supply this to New Zealand farmers and contractors. Our company was the first to import this new product in volume and make it widely available throughout New Zealand.
Since then, Polynet’s range of products has increased to include a wide selection of incredibly versatile and high-quality crop covers, pest control nettings, fibreglass stakes and rods, wind and shade nets, and much, much more.
Aubrey's son Paul joined Polynet in the early 1990s and is the current Managing Director, and more recently, we have promoted an extended range of products to Home Gardeners and Garden Centres – including a range of fibreglass rods and accessories for cloche making, as well as an wide range of extruded meshes from Tenax International.
OUR CUSTOMER-FOCUS
Polynet Products Limited is very much a customer-focused business, and we are incredibly proud of our reputation for fast, friendly and honest service. We work hard to ensure all orders are processed quickly and efficiently, and, whenever possible, orders received before midday are delivered or dispatched on the same day that they are received.
We enjoy meeting and talking to our customers throughout the country and attend trade shows regularly, including:
- National Agricultural Fieldays
- Canterbury A & P Show
- South Island Fieldays – Waimumu
- Wanaka A&P Show (every second year)
OUR LOCATION
Polynet is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We operate primarily as an online business, however our Managing Director, Paul Smith, is available to meet customers onsite at our bulk store or office at home by arrangement.
